Rie Studios is an independent business based in Somerset and created to elevate your presence online, whether that be through photography, marketing or story telling - or a mixture of both.

Founder, Laurie grew up in the South West, studied photography at uni, and somehow ended up running a 2AA rosette restaurant & boutique hotel — after starting out as a waitress. Life came at her fast.

Over the years, she found herself doing more than just managing tables and team rotas — and actually ended up creating a lot of the content that brought the place to life. Think photography, socials, newsletters, menus… if it needed words or pictures, she was probably behind it.

Eventually, after one too many “you should do this for yourself” conversations and a classic nearing-30 moment of existential reflection, she decided to take the plunge and start her own thing.

Pulling together Laurie’s background in hospitality and content creation we aim to help other businesses tell their stories — or just look really, really good online.
